Process

A calm path from inquiry to paper in hand

Seven stages, clear timing, and room for questions, so the suite stays thoughtful from the first conversation through delivery.

01

Inquiry

You share the wedding, the feeling you’re after, and what you know about paper scope. I reply within 2–3 business days.

02

Initial consultation

A call or an in-person meeting to talk through vision, timing, and whether we’re a fit. No pressure, just clarity.

03

Design

I shape the suite as a system: palette, print method, wording hierarchy, envelopes, and day-of pieces considered together.

04

Proof

You review proofs with room to refine. We stay collaborative until the suite feels right.

05

Production

Print, specialty finishes, and addressing or calligraphy (when they’re part of the suite) move into production once proofs are approved.

06

Assembly

Pieces are gathered, checked, and prepared for mailing or handoff.

07DeliveryFinished paper reaches you (or your planner) with time to breathe before the wedding.

Timing

When to reach out

Inquire about 8–10 months before the wedding. Destination celebrations, and weekends with welcome events or hotel gifts, usually need a little more runway.

Questions

What couples usually ask

What does a custom suite typically include?

Invitation suites, save-the-dates, day-of goods, welcome and weekend paper, and calligraphy or addressing, designed as one system rather than one-off pieces.

How does investment work?

Custom suites start at $6,000 as a total project floor. Final investment depends on suite scope, guest count, print methods, and day-of pieces. We’ll talk through range on the consult so there are no surprises.

When should we inquire?

Most couples inquire 8–10 months out. Destination weddings, and anything with complex shipping or multi-event paper, benefit from reaching out earlier.

Do you work on destination weddings?

Yes. Destination and multi-city celebrations are welcome. I’ll plan production and delivery timelines around travel, hotel drops, and whoever is receiving the paper on site.

How do collaboration and revisions work?

Custom work includes thoughtful ideation and proofing. You’ll feel heard, and I’ll keep decisions clear so the suite stays cohesive rather than endless. Exact revision rhythm is set in the proposal once scope is clear.

How do you think about AI in the studio?

Everything I make for you, from sketches through finished paper, is original human work. I don’t use generative AI to design suites. Please don’t submit AI-generated materials, and please don’t put drafts, proofs, files, or finished pieces into AI tools to copy or recreate the work. The full terms live in the client agreement.
